When you buy a product we collect your name, email address, billing country and the details of your order. Stripe collects and processes your payment details directly; we receive only a confirmation, the last four digits of the card and the payment status. We also collect basic technical data such as IP address and browser type to keep the site secure, and any information you send us by email or phone.

We use your data to process payments, deliver downloads and provide support (performance of our contract with you); to meet tax and accounting obligations (legal obligation); to prevent fraud and secure the site (legitimate interests); and, if you opt in, to send product updates (consent, withdrawable at any time).

We share data only with service providers acting on our instructions: Stripe (payment processing), our website hosting and email providers, and our accountants. We never sell your data. Where a provider processes data outside the UK or EEA, appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses are in place.

Order and invoice records are kept for six years to satisfy UK tax law. Support correspondence is kept for two years. Marketing data is deleted when you unsubscribe.

You have the right to access, correct, delete or port your data, to object to or restrict processing, and to withdraw consent. Email contact@redismastery.org and we will respond within one month. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

The site is served over HTTPS, payment pages are hosted by Stripe, and access to customer records is limited to people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data.
